Amazing, classic diner style ice cream. Their chocolate chip milk shake is perfection. Haven't had a single scoop of anything not good yet (coffee, mint chip, peanut butter chip). Line also moves way faster than Gunther's!

I always wondered why Vic's never got as popular as Gunther's but decided to come give it a try. We came on a warm weekend afternoon so there was a bit of a line to the door but it wasn't that bad at all. It's just a tiny place inside so not much waiting room! They have tables and some barstool seating so we were able to sit inside luckily. There are a couple tables outside but not as many as inside, but at least they were in the shade. I decided to try the fresh boysenberry sherbet. I am assuming that means the other flavors are not fresh fruit? You could definitely see the little seeds in this flavor and it was so flavorful! I'm also a big fan of peach so I had to try that off of their seasonal menu. The cup shown in my photo was considered their single scoop but I was able to get the two flavors which was nice! My husband's butter brittle flavor was also delicious but unfortunately only a seasonal flavor as well. I definitely wouldn't mind coming back for a hand packed quart or half gallon to go! Overall didn't have any complaints to be honest, so I hope Vic's will get the same kind of love from Sacramento!
